TEKLITE Portable Lighting Units & Chargers (Series PLU)

It is not possible to list all the possible uses of Teklite No-noise Compact Portable Lighting Units. The powerful floodlighting which they give can be used for maintenance or inspections in dark places, for emergency lighting, or as lighting for Police, Fire Services or night breakdown services of all kinds. They are self-contained and draw their energy from a sealed maintenance-free battery.

• Mast mounted lamp on stable base. • Compact for transport or storage. • The base of the unit contains battery and electronic energy convertor. • Folding legs make the unit stable even in strong winds. • 2 types of lamp are available : high pressure sodium for maximum mist penetrating light or metal halide where white light is required. • The mast is built up from aluminium tubes.
PLU 1B
• For those who prefer a telescopic mast. • This model features a hand-extended telescopic mast which gives slightly better stability than the simple tube arrangement of the PLU 1. • The mast has an air cushion device which prevents uncontrolled retraction, thus protecting the lamp from shock. • Place anywhere and set the shine in any direction.

TEKLITE Battery Chargers

Teklite offer a suitable Battery Charger for all Teklite Portable Lighting units. Batteries may be charged from the 230/110V AC mains supply, or from 12V or 24V vehicle electrical systems.

	Teklite Battery Chargers are fully automatic, thus they will charge batteries in the shortest possible time, without risk of over-heating or gassing. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger automatically switches to float(stand-by) mode. The charger may be left connected to the battery indefinitely, without risk of over-charge. All Teklite Battery Chargers are electronically protected against short circuits and reverse polarity connection. Simply correct the fault and the charger will revert to normal operation.

TEKLITE Portable & Transportable Lighting

Upgrading of existing equipment is always an attractive proposition, on condition that the cost is moderate and the work simple. TF 610 fulfills that requirement whilst maintaining the Teklite quality, which ensures immediate and perfect functioning when required.

MOUNTING THE MAST:
Mounting the mast is easy whichever way. Permanently fixed to the outside of the vehicle or mounted using a quickly detachable bracket set for equipment security or multi-vehicle use.

	TF200 (Left) The baby telescope mast in the Teklite programme. Keyed sections maintain lamp alignment making it ideal for preset or all-round lighting. Takes next to no space. Ideal for double 500 Watt halogen or low voltage sodium lamps. Internal lamp power cable with top fitting for easy lamp attachment or removal.
	TF300 (Right) TF300 masts have all the attractive features of TF400, but with a lower fitting capacity whilst being more compact. These masts are fitted with an internal lamp power cable.
	TF400 (Left) The best lighting system for medium to heavy fire vehicles. The pneumatically extended telescopic mast uses technology developed over 35 years. They can be manually or electrically controlled.
	TF500 (Right) The most economically priced Teklite telescopic mast with internal lamp power cable. Mast sections are free to turn. Therefore TF500 should only be specified for all-round lighting.
	TF610 (Left) Universal application. Handpump pneumatic, or simple manual, mast extension. May be mounted externally on a vehicle or quickly detached and fitted to a tripod stand, to become free-standing.
